And there were children on the streets,
Music played and boxcars locked together,
The small town rose with the times and worried life away.
Seems like I should say "as long as this is love" Its all ok.
The rain falls on the factory bells as they ring,
The people fill in or file out and whats the difference she said,
What does it matter if you are coming or going,
If you want to have a seat then pull up a stool and we can live,
Fill some glasses, and drink our worries down the drain.
The rain pours down filling the streets but inside we're safe.
The jukebox is broken and the records skip,
Rhythmic scratching and laughter becomes the music.
The drunks are all laughing and we just lift the glasses,
The clink so drowned out in sound but we feel it,
We feel it and that is what matters. With each chime of the clock,
We fill a glass. A toast to for another moment,
We drink and say good night my friend.
And as the boys take up their coats to leave,
We fill more glasses and hold them up high,
Well wishes and smiles to follow each out the door.
The alcohol glitters in the light as the reverie never ends here.
But then the time has come, she and I look to each other,
We smile and say the words. We fell in love with each drink,
With each smile and drunken curse and now its time to leave.
We place our empty glasses on the bar and head for the door.
Both of us stop and take a look to the bar, There stand our glasses,
Full and ready. The Bartender smiles for next time he says to us.
Yes, for next time.

Anyone who want to come to God must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely look for him. Hebrews 11:8

Those who lay treasures in heaven are the richest people in earth.
well thank you. I am pleased you like it.

well, not my favourite but the reason behind that may be that I'm not quite mature enough to understand the meaning. Nice flow though.
